Neptune was found because it had to bethere - its gravity affected its neighbour Uranus in such a way that astronomers figured out there ought to be a planet beyond it. Neptune is very much like Uranus in composition and size, but it's the most windy of all our nearby planets with winds reaching over 2000 km/h, and it's even got a stormy spot like Jupiter's.
