The character Death is a gothic girl walking around and informing people that they have died, while dropping cool comments. If you haven’t read them yet, you ought to get up immediately and head of to the nearest comic book seller to get a copy. (It is, in fact, an order! Obey!) Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean have also made MirrorMask together, an animated movie that you shouldn’t miss.

Neil Gaiman has also written several books, for example Neverwhere, American Gods and Good Omens (the latest together with Terry Pratchett), all of them great of course!
The Pentagram is a classic symbol, which together with the number of the beast and the upside down cross are mostly associated with the occult, Satanism and gothic music.
